Plants That Keep Winter Garden Snakes Away

There are several plants that can be used to ward off Winter Garden snakes in your backyard. You can the herbs for many uses since they do not have to be for the snake determent alone. Some of these plants are useful herbs and can be used in the kitchen or to make medicinal pastes and drinks. A few of these plants you may already have in your garden and just need to transfer to perimeter regions. Another natural repellent is garlic spray that can be made using garlic cloves. Take 10 or more cloves and use garlic infused oil to mix them. Add water to the mixture And shake. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and use it on the grass or bushes near your house.
● The mother in law's tongue.
One of the plants that a Winter Garden snake detests the most is the mother in law's tongue. This plant is known to have extremely sharp leaves that the snake can get hurt on as it slithers. Snakes do not like the general appearance of this plant.
● Marigolds.
The pungent scent from the cherry flowers of the plant will more often than not deter Florida snakes from your yard. A border of marigolds is one of the plants that can keep snakes out of your home area. Plant some on the base of your perimeter fence and keep all nematodes and snakes from your backyard.
● Tobacco plant.
This plant may need some permission or special permit to plant depending on the state or country you are in. You need to make sure that you are not Breaking any laws when you plant the tobacco plant.
